Protector User Group Meeting:
The 25th Anniversary Edition
September 11 - 12, 2023


WHAT

It's a milestone year for us, and we simply cannot wait to see you this fall! This educational event is perfect for EVERY member of the Protector community. The Protector User Group Meeting (PUGM) includes informative, in-depth fraud management sessions presented by industry experts, all designed to help you maximally protect your revenue. Join us in the heart of Nashville this fall to:

  • Help your bottom line. Learn how to reduce fraud losses via carrier-led case studies.
  • Tour the entire system with emphasis on leveraging the newest features for the greatest gain.
  • Network and exchange tips with professionals from every sector of telecom.
  • Meet the Equinox teams who develop and support Protector.
  • Take your fraud management strategies to the next level. Protector veteran and fraud expert Christi Vanoye leads in-depth training sessions during the event. (You can submit questions in advance!)
  • Make a difference. Your questions and input directly shape Protector's future features.
  • Experience southern hospitality. Equinox furnishes four meals for event attendees.

WHERE

All User Group Meeting sessions take place at the Music City Center, located at 201 Rep. John Lewis Way S (formerly 5th Ave S), Nashville, TN 37203, (615) 401-1400.

WHO

Any Protector user currently under maintenance can attend the meeting FREE OF CHARGE. There's no better value, as your only cost is for travel and lodging! The event costs $1,295 per person for all other attendees. Seating is limited, so be sure to register as soon as possible1.

WHEN

The event occurs September 11 - 12, 2023 (Monday and Tuesday) in Nashville. Please note this year's event spans two days rather than three as in the past. By customer request, we are pleased to offer an introductory online system training BEFORE the meeting.

BEFORE PUGM - Tuesday August 22 (12:00 Central): Protector 101: A System Overview and Introduction. This one-hour online training demonstrates Protector's features by walking through the application's interface. This webinar is perfect preparation for the user group and is designed to help you get the most out of the meeting's content. It is perfect for all system users, regardless of skill level, application version, or ability to attend PUGM in Nashville. This free training is open to ALL current members of the Equinox community but does require separate registration.

PUGM DAY 1 - Monday September 11: Lunch is provided at 12:00 pm at the Music City Center, followed by the event's official kick off at 1:00. Please plan to arrive at the Nashville airport by 11:00 am (Central) to take advantage of the day's activities. The UGM event begins with formal introductions, followed by use case demonstrations of the system's new features, as well as presentations led by the Support and Development teams. After sessions wrap, Equinox provides a relaxing networking dinner Monday night in the Rodeo Room at Nashville Underground. We've got an amazing agenda lined up for PUGM 2023.

PUGM DAY 2 - Tuesday September 12: This day begins with breakfast at the Music City Center. Educational and networking sessions for this day include carrier-led case studies, training, access to industry experts, lunch break, group photo, and the ever-popular Wish List. All training sessions are led by Implementation Manager, Christi Vanoye. We gladly welcome suggestions and advance questions for the training sessions.. We've got an amazing agenda lined up for PUGM 2023.

WHERE TO STAY

You may stay at the host hotel or choose an alternate downtown hotel. Read details in the next two paragraphs.

Host Hotel: Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Nashville Downtown, 310 4th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37201. Equinox has reserved a limited block of rooms September 10 to 13 for the Protector User Group Meeting. The discounted $209 room rate is available until August 15 or until the group block sells out, whichever comes first. Reserve your room as soon as possible, as the number of discounted rooms is limited, and downtown hotels fill quickly. After the August 15 cutoff date or the CHHEQU block sells out, any available room in the hotel confirms at the prevailing rack rate. Participants are responsible for their own hotel and transportation costs. Equinox provides 4 meals as part of the conference. Equinox also covers all admission costs for any current member of the Protector community.

HOW TO GET TO THE UGM EACH DAY

The host hotel is (less than two blocks) walking distance from the Music City Center (MCC) event venue. Please note that PUGM attendees are responsible for securing transportation to/from the airport.

Participants are responsible for their own travel, transportation, and accommodation costs.
