Telekenex Turns to Protector to Mitigate Communications Fraud

Nashville, TN - September 1, 2009 - Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems today announced that Telekenex, a provider of enterprise voice and data services, has licensed Protector 10 to monitor call and data usage records for real-time fraud detection. Protector 10 software integrates with Telekenex's VoIP network to monitor for communications fraud on their Genband C3 and Broadsoft M6 switches.

Protector offers real-time fraud protection by identifying instances in which a customer's actual usage varies from expected usage in a manner that suggests fraudulent activity. Over the last twenty years, Protector has saved carriers millions of dollars in fraud losses by distinguishing communications fraud from legitimate customer usage. The agreement with Telekenex also includes software implementation, training services, and a full year of maintenance and support.
