Nashville, TN - June 17, 2008 - Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems today announced that Sovernet Communications, Vermont's largest locally-owned statewide competitive provider of residential and business telephone and Internet services, has licensed a suite of Equinox software applications: TeleLink, Manager, and TeleScope.
Sovernet Communications selected the TeleLink mediation system to automate its usage record transmission process by filtering and converting usage data for use by downstream operational support systems (OSS). Manager monitors network performance and activity in detail by analyzing traditional switch as well as VoIP usage data, and TeleScope analyzes international traffic from both a network and financial perspective.
"We needed to manage usage records from our Siemens EWSD, MetaSwitch, and Tekelec switches, as well as usage from Global Crossing, Verizon, and MCI," said Brandon Peyton, Director of Operations at Sovernet Communications. "Equinox software integrates with all of these to provide us with a real-time dashboard of our worldwide usage traffic."
