Hargray
Communications, Telephone Division chooses a suite of Equinox
Information Systems products for increased security against
telephone fraud. The suite includes Collector, an X.25 call record
collection system; Protector Deluxe, one of the industry’s most
widely used fraud detection systems; and ShowCDR Deluxe, a
sophisticated call record search utility system. With the Equinox
suite, Hargray will be able to control fraud that was difficult to
detect with previous technologies and reduce significant losses
attributed to long-distance telephone fraud.

Protector’s capabilities by providing access to call detail
information for monitoring and giving users the ability to research
potential fraud in real-time.
