Filer Mutual Telephone Company Purchases Equinox Software For Nortel Switch

COLLECTOR DELUXE PROVIDES REAL-TIME DELIVERY OF CDRS 

Nashville, TN — June 27, 2003 - Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems today announced that Filer Mutual Telephone Company, an integrated communications provider based in Idaho, has licensed Collector Deluxe. Filer Mutual selected the Collector Deluxe mediation system to automate its call detail record (CDR) transmission process. The software, which downloads records in real-time by using the Automatic File Transfer process via an Ethernet Interface Unit, interfaces seamlessly with Filer Mutual's Nortel DMS 100 switch.

"After evaluating several mediation systems, we concluded that Collector Deluxe would be the best choice given the software's advanced features and price point," explained John Gunn, COO of Filer Mutual. "Without this system, our engineers would have had to manually pull the tapes to download the call records for billing. Collector Deluxe facilitates the integration of mediation and billing processes, which saves Filer Mutual both time and money." 

Collector Deluxe provides real-time delivery of call detail records (CDRs) and supports a number of switch types and communication protocols including X.25, TCP/IP, and file transfer protocol (FTP).
