PAETEC
Communications Upgrades To Protector 10.0
PROTECTOR 10.0
PROVIDES REAL-TIME TELECOM FRAUD DETECTION
Nashville, TN — May 16, 2003 - Nashville-based Equinox
Information Systems today announced that PAETEC Corp., a holding
company whose principal subsidiary is PAETEC Communications, Inc.,
an integrated communications provider, has upgraded its enterprise
fraud security software to Protector 10.0. As one of the industry's
most widely deployed fraud detection systems, Protector 10.0 enables
telecom carriers, such as PAETEC, to quickly focus on suspect and
fraudulent activity.
"When PAETEC initially deployed Protector in 2001 it significantly
reduced our telecom fraud costs, which directly resulted in improved
customer satisfaction and overall competitiveness" explained Mary
Hochheimer, PAETEC's Fraud Manager. "Based on this, the decision to
upgrade to Protector 10 was easy - we knew it would help us catch
more fraud, more quickly, with less administration."
"We are delighted that PAETEC elected to upgrade to Protector
10.0," said David West, Equinox Executive Vice President.
"They have joined a long list of carriers who have implemented
Protector 10.0, reaffirming Equinox as the provider of the most
advanced telecom fraud management solution on the market."
