CIMCO Communications, Inc. Purchases Equinox Information Systems's
TeleLink Mediation Platform
Nashville, TN — August 11, 2004
- Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems today announced
that CIMCO Communications has licensed and installed the
TeleLink mediation software system, to process call records from
its Lucent 5ESS switch. This software will filter and convert
call data for use by operational support systems (OSS) including
billing and network traffic analysis.
“Equinox has a long history of developing and delivering
software that effectively addresses carriers’ back office
requirements. Based on their experience and reputation, in
addition to the features and functionality of the software,
Equinox was the obvious choice for us,” said Dave Braner, Chief
Information Officer at CIMCO.
TeleLink allows carriers to maximize revenue and reduce
operational costs, saving both time and money by automating the
flow and ensuring the integrity of call data as it travels from
the switching platform to billing and other downstream OSS
processes.
