Buyers United Licenses Protector 10 Fraud Protection Software from Equinox Information Systems

Nashville, TN — June 22, 2004 - Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems today announced that Buyers United, Inc., a reseller of telecommunication services based in Bluffdale, Utah, has implemented Protector 10 for fraud protection. Buyers United will use Protector 10 to monitor and identify telecom fraud on both their traditional traffic as well as for voice over IP (VoIP) calls.

Protector 10 provides real-time fraud protection by identifying instances in which a customer's actual usage varies from expected usage in a manner that suggests fraudulent activity.
