Communications Licenses Equinox Collector Software
COLLECTOR
AFT/EIU PROVIDES REAL-TIME DELIVERY OF CDRS FROM NORTEL DMS 100
Nashville, TN — April 13, 2004 -
Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems today announced that
Intelleq Communications a progressive company formed to provide
expanded services to rural markets in Northwestern Oklahoma, has
licensed Collector AFT/EIU. Intelleq Communications selected the
Collector AFT/EIU mediation system to automate its call detail
record (CDR) transmission process. The software, which downloads
records in real-time by using the Automatic File Transfer
process via an Ethernet Interface Unit, interfaces seamlessly
with Intelleq Communications’ Nortel DMS 100 switch.
“After researching various call record mediation systems, we
concluded that Collector AFT/EIU was the best fit for us given
the software's flexibility and features,” explained Raymond
Castor, Director of Technology for Intelleq Communications.
“Collector AFT/EIU facilitates the integration of mediation and
billing processes, which significantly reduces our operational
costs.”
Collector AFT/EIU provides real-time delivery of call detail
records (CDRs) and supports a number of switch types and
communication protocols including X.25, TCP/IP, and file
transfer protocol (FTP).
"This software purchase represents an important step in
initiating a strong customer relationship with Intelleq
Communications,” said David West, Executive Vice President for
Equinox. "We look forward to installing additional Collector
AFT/EIU systems in the near future and providing Intelleq
Communications with a wide range of telecom software solutions
for many years to come."
