Broadview Networks Selects Protector 10 Software to Mitigate
Telecom Fraud
Nashville,
TN — December 19, 2006 - Nashville-based
Equinox Information Systems today announced that Broadview Networks,
a leading facilities-based communications provider in the Northeast
USA, has licensed Protector 10 for real-time fraud protection.
Protector 10 alerts Broadview Networks when telecom fraud is
occurring on their network in real-time. This real-time alert
system allows costly telecom fraud to be stopped in progress.
Protector
10 provides real-time protection by identifying instances in
which a customer's actual usage varies from expected usage in
a manner that suggests fraudulent activity. Over the last eighteen
years, Protector has helped hundreds of telecommunications companies
reduce fraud losses.
"Equinox
is delighted that Broadview Networks has tested Protector 10
and concluded that it is the best software system available
to combat telecom fraud," commented David West, Equinox
Executive Vice President. "Our goal is to be the fraud
management software leader in the communications industry. Adding
Broadview Networks as a customer reinforces our industry leadership
position."
