Nashville, TN — January 10, 2006 - Nashville-based Equinox Information Systems today announced that Cleartel Communications has licensed and installed a mediation platform from Equinox Information Systems. The software platform, comprised of Collector and TeleLink, facilitates the delivery of usage records by filtering and converting call data to the appropriate data format for import into billing and other operational support systems (OSS).

Collector downloads usage records in real-time through standard communication protocols, such as X.25, TCP/IP, and FTP. TeleLink saves carriers time and money by automating the flow and ensuring the data integrity of usage records as they travel from switches to billing and other downstream OSS processes.
