CFCA Fraud Educational Event Next Up For Equinox

Equinox Sponsors CFCA Efforts and Participates in Fight Against Fraud

NASHVILLE, TN—February 17, 2017—Leading telecom solutions provider Equinox Information Systems reported today that they will attend and participate in the Communications Fraud Control Association (CFCA) Winter Educational Event next month. This meeting, the first in CFCA’s lineup of 2017 events, is set for March 14 - 16, in Anaheim, California. As in year’s past, CFCA has put together an impressive lineup of case studies, speakers from all segments of the telecom and securities industries, and informative sessions on fraud perpetration methods and asset protection. Recognizing the collaborative spirit of its members, CFCA has also added a Pluto’s Pursuit team-building session as a pre-conference workshop to this year’s agenda for the first time ever.

CFCA President and Certified Communications Security Professional (CCSP) Chris Walters commented on the upcoming conference by saying, “CFCA works hard to advance the fight against fraud by connecting communications and security personnel and providing them with timely, relevant information about the risks everyone in this industry faces. I very much appreciate Equinox Information Systems’ continued support of CFCA’s mission and look forward to their participation in the 2017 Winter Educational Event.”

Equinox has been an active member and sponsor of CFCA for 20 years. The company’s professional affiliation with CFCA is important to Equinox’s mission to be an industry leader in the fight against fraud. Company representatives Christi Vanoye and David West will attend and participate in the event, with their efforts focused on the Equinox’s automated fraud management solution (FMS), Protector.

“My job at Equinox involves training new customers and implementing systems, which means I work very closely with the people who battle fraud on the front line every day,” explained Equinox’s Implementation and Training Manager, Christi Vanoye. “Beyond the educational and networking opportunities this CFCA event offers all attendees, I get to collaborate with these fraud management professionals together at a single gathering. I especially look forward to catching up with many of our customers, who are also CFCA members, at the traditional Equinox dinner on Tuesday, March 14th.”
